Little Miss Aashvi made sure that we had a very relaxed session with her. She slept well and was just the best baby! Look at that sweet face, the cutest smile, the little back rolls... Sigh. We can't wait to see her again at her sitting up session!
We couldn't wait to have this little sweetheart back in the studio! Elli is one of our Baby Boutique members. She was the perfect baby during her newborn session and also the sweetest little girl at her sitting up session. At the end we watched her eating with a spoon for the first time. What a fun mess!
You are counting down the days until your scheduled maternity photo session and a variety of excuses flash through your mind why you should just not do it. You don't look beautiful anymore, your legs are swollen, nothing fits anymore, the stretch marks...who wants to remember all of this anyway?
Ask yourself this question: HOW will I remember?
In the end, it's really not about the extra pounds or the stretch marks. It's about the excitement of soon meeting your tiny new baby, the special bond with your partner and older children, the quiet moments before the big change in your life. It is a time to celebrate the life you are creating.
There are these precious times in our lives that we should document regardless of how we feel about ourselves. Pregnancy and the new baby are certainly at the top of the list. These photographs will trigger memories, feelings and emotions long after baby's first steps, the first day of school, or the day when they leave for college. Our children won't look at our swollen feet and stretch marks when they hold these images in their hands in 20 years from now. They will be grateful to have memories like this and so will we!
HOW will you remember? Let us capture the wonder, the love, the excitement, the tenderness.
We want you the embrace the bump and celebrate!
Below are a few frequently asked questions. We’ll talk about all this and more in more detail during the pre-session consultation.
When should I schedule the session?
We photograph most sessions 6-10 weeks before your due date. At this point in your pregnancy you are still mobile and the belly is close to full size.
What clothing should I bring?
Wear anything you feel comfortable in. Avoid patterns, stripes and plaids unless they truly are a big part of your identity.
We also have fabrics, beautiful maternity gowns and accessories at our studio that you are welcome to use.
How should I prepare?
You can do two things. Either make the session a family event by bringing your partner and older children, or take out a few hours of your day to relax and be pampered by getting a manicure/pedicure and having your hair and makeup done by a professional hair and makeup artist right here at our studio!
Don't let this special time in your life be forgotten. Let's create memories together!
Oh the pregnancy glow! We photographed Shannon only two weeks before her due date and she absolutely rocked her session!
Mom wanted Zaelynn to show off her favorite dress and cute little dimples. That was no big deal for Zaelynn. She had a big smile on her face throughout the session.
